5-year-old wanted to make something nice for her mom. Her mom works two jobs, one daytime and one overnight. 5-year-old also loves to do things and is always asking me "Can we make food or do a fun project?"
I kid you not, all I did was hand her a toilet paper tube. Sometimes I save them, sometimes I recycle them. This one happened to be sitting on my counter waiting for the verdict.
5-year-old decorated her "vase" and made paper flowers for her mom. All her idea. All by herself.
